Stakeholders in Blockchain Technology Association of Nigeria (SiBAN) have announced their partnership with TechCabal as an ecosystem partner for Moonshot 2026, Africa's fastest growing technology conference. The two day event, themed "Courage and Conviction: Building for a New World," returns to the National Theatre in Lagos on October 28 and 29, 2026.
This marks the second time SiBAN is partnering with TechCabal for Moonshot, further strengthening the relationship between both organisations and their shared interest in creating platforms for meaningful conversations around technology, innovation, and Africa's digital economy.
Moonshot has built a strong track record since its debut, drawing 6,000 attendees from 39 countries in its 2025 edition and convening more than 12,650 participants from 44 countries since 2023, cementing its place as one of the continent's most influential technology gatherings.
SiBAN's Role at Moonshot 2026
As the leading body for blockchain advocacy and self regulation in Nigeria, SiBAN's presence at Moonshot 2026 shows the growing centrality of blockchain within Africa's broader technology conversation. The conference runs across nine content tracks, including Emerging Tech (AI and ML), Government and Policy, and FUEL: The Investors Conference, spaces where blockchain adoption and regulatory dialogue are expected to feature prominently.
This year's theme aligns closely with SiBAN's own advocacy. As Nigeria's regulatory landscape matures, through the SEC's Accelerated Regulatory Incubation Programme, the CBN Regulatory Sandbox, and the Nigeria Revenue Service's virtual asset taxation guidelines, SiBAN has remained at the forefront of ensuring blockchain stakeholders build with the same courage and conviction the conference champions.
