SiBAN Partners with Anambra Web3 Conference 3.0 to Advance Responsible Blockchain Innovation

The Stakeholders in Blockchain Technology Association of Nigeria (SiBAN) is returning as a partner for the Anambra Web3 Conference 3.0, holding on 7 November 2026 at Stanel Dome, Enugu-Onitsha Expressway, Awka, Anambra State.

The decision is rooted in SiBAN's drive to see a responsible, inclusive and sustainable blockchain industry in Nigeria. It also speaks to the Association's belief that discussions on policy, innovation and opportunity should reach builders, students and founders across the country. In line with this, SiBAN President, Bar. Mela Claude Ake, and Vice President 3: Policy, Regulation and Ethics, Ayo Shonibare, will be speaking at the conference.

SiBAN's impact at Anambra Web3 Conference 2.0

SiBAN first teamed up with the Anambra Web3 Conference last year, and the impact was clear. Through its keynote and fireside chat, the Association laid out a two-part outlook for Africa's digital future: innovating responsibly within the regulatory grey zone, and building Web3 solutions that tackle real economic problems today.

SiBAN, represented by Obinna Iwuno pointed to a major concern for the industry: Africa's blockchain space is growing faster than the rules meant to guide it, leaving builders to find their way with little clarity and real risk. The Association also showed how Web3 can meet everyday needs of ordinary people. Those conversations gave builders, students and founders in Anambra a clearer sense of how to build responsibly while still creating value.

Taking the partnership further

This year, SiBAN is set to go further. The Association will bring more of its expertise to the conference, back young talent and push for stronger working relationships between builders, industry players and policymakers.
